The Marion & Aaron Gural JCC Early Childhood Center has been operating a New York State licensed nursery school since 1988. The nursery school offers an opportunity for children to learn through creative play in small age-appropriate classes. Our educationally enriched curriculum meets the needs of individual children. Music, creative movement, storytelling, cooking and karate classes, as well as indoor and outdoor play facilities, contribute to a rich, well-rounded program. All of our equipment is age-appropriate and challenges the child’s developing fine and gross motor skills.

Mission Statement and Goals
Every child is encouraged to develop to his/her greatest potential. The goal of our program is to instill basic Jewish values that will enrich and encourage the young child’s sense of self-worth, the desire to help others and life-long love of learning.
School hours are from 9:00am-12:30pm or 9:00am-2:30pm.
Extended hours are available, Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-6:00pm, Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (3:00pm dismissal during Daylight Savings Time Sabbath).
The school year is from 9-12-16 through 6-16-17.
Our facility includes twenty beautiful classrooms, large indoor play areas, an all purpose party room and three outdoor playgrounds.
The weekly schedules include art, gym, music, movement and Shabbos parties. Our three and four-year-olds have Karate every week.
We celebrate holidays with special shows and parties for Thanksgiving, Chanukah, Purim and Passover. Every month we have special events for Rosh Chodesh.
For additional fees a catered kosher lunch program is offered. All food, prepared and provided, is strictly kosher.
Since children can have severe and potentially life-threatening allergic reactions to nuts, peanuts and all nut products are not allowed at the nursery school.
Bus transportation is available for an additional fee.
