Chess and Logical Games

Beginners:
Instructor: Anatoly Tonconogy, Senior Master in Chess

Monday – 5:30pm-6:30pm
Wednesday – 5:45pm-6:30pm

Ages: Pre-K through 1st Grade
Taught in English

This class will teach the principles of chess using unique teaching method developed specifically for young children.

Advanced:
Monday – 5:30 to 6:30 pm
Wednesday – 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Ages: 6 and up
Taught in English

This course facilitates the development of analytical skills, concentration and memory. It will help prepare students for tournaments.

Math —

The overall goal of these classes is to teach children through mathematics ways of thinking that are essential to future work and civic life. Focus on grade and ability appropriate problem solving strategies, logic, brain teasers that strengthen mathematical thinking and analytical skills.

THE LITERARY CLUB “WORD BUILDERS”

Ages 4 – 13
Intensive study of the Russian language based on Russian and international literary classics will expand the children’s vocabulary, understanding of the language, pronunciation and promote memorization ability. An informal and creative environment during lessons will encourage communication with peers and will develop better conversational and social skills.
