The Nancy R. Stern Center for Special Needs offers programs and support groups for people of all ages with special needs and their families.

OPWDD Reimbursement Grant

This coveted grant from the Family Support Services Department of the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) reimburses families of and individuals with special needs for specific out of pocket expenses that are not generally covered by insurance.

Certain eligibility status and documentation is required.

Ongoing – no fee.

WANTED: TEEN VOLUNTEERS!

The Special Needs Department is looking for teen volunteers to help with social programming and special events during the year. Teens also serve as Volunteer Shadows at our summer camp. These meaningful opportunities are a great way to accumulate required community service hours.
