Bereavement Group for the Loss of a Child

Losing someone you love can be one of the most difficult life experiences people have to deal with. But the loss of a child is a painful experience which few can comprehend. People that have lost a child know that no one can share or experience the pain they feel except for another person who has gone through the same experience. The purpose of this group is to connect parents that have gone through this experience and foster a support system so that they can support each other in their journeys.

Topics include:

  • blame and guilt, hurtful remarks
  • how to continue living
  • how to parent other children at home
  • stress on marriage
  • other important issues will be covered in a safe supportive and confidential group.

For further information about this group please call 516-569-6733.
