From beginners to advanced, through a series of life, photo and still-life arrangements, students will learn observation and to understand structure and form. Using a variety of materials, students will learn composition, line, shading and color. We will touch on perspective foreshortening and spatial relationships and art history. Students will develop their own personal style and form of artistic expression while creating several display-worthy pieces, in addition to learning lifelong skills. This class is appropriate for adults of all ages and levels, and creates a warm, friendly and social environment. It has become the highlight of many people’s weeks.
