Oct. 14 – Farmer’s Market Day!
Join us for an autumn walking tour of the Long Beach Farmer’s Market and explore new and different locally grown varieties. Chef Naomi Ross will provide tips, explanations and usage information at the farm. The fun continues back at the JCC with a full cooking class to enjoy the farm’s bounty applied in the kitchen!

November 18 – Spice Market
High quality, fresh spices are the secret to vibrant, flavorful cooking. Join us as we recreate the finest Eastern spice markets at the JCC with special guest Mr. Golombeck, of Morris Golombeck Spice Co. Chef Naomi Ross will demonstrate how to “spice it up” with recipes applied in a full cooking class to follow.

choose for your meat dishes? Join us for a FREE tour of the Gourmet Glatt Meat Department with explanations and tips given by their Head Butcher. Full meat cooking class to follow in the JCC kitchen with Chef Naomi Ross. Class recipes will demonstrate roasting, braising, and grilling techniques…all suited for the right cuts!
