Does cutting and chopping get in the way of making recipes you wish you could? Want to cut down on your prep time without relying on convenience items? Learn your mince from your dice, julienne from batonnet and get your knife skills up! In this fundamentals class, you will learn how to work quickly, safely and efficiently using the chef’s knife with proper knife handling.
We will prepare a soup, salad and side dish using the techniques you’ve learned. Some kitchen gadgets are a must for easy prep (some are not!). We’ll show you which should be in your kitchen and how to use them as well.
