The Gural JCC is offering a mental fitness program specifically designed for savvy baby boomers who know that long, productive lives rely on both physical and mental fitness. Many of the changes associated with aging, such as lapses in memory or decline in mental sharpness, may be minimized, delayed, or prevented by a commitment to brain fitness. Exercising the mind is a way to gain and maintain brain fitness and stay sharp as we age. A diverse range of games-like activities that progress in complexity over time ensures that participants are engaged and challenged, but not frustrated, for a gratifying “mental workout”. Program presented by Dr. Shelly Pazer, Developmental Psychologist. Pre-registration is required by calling the JCC at 516-569-6733.
